How we started

Design & Build Electrical Engineering & Contractors, Inc. was founded by Steve Kidwell in 2004. Steve instilled a company philosophy that is grounded in customer service with responsiveness, first class job performance, and high-quality design build/design assist work. This allowed the company to become what it is today.

In 2022, Daniel Kidwell took over as President and CEO. Daniel started working alongside his father Steve in 2010 making the company a family affair. He worked as an electrician and received his masters license in 2015 before eventually transitioning to the management team.

Here at Design & Build Electrical Engineering & Contractors, Inc. we provide high quality commercial and industrial electrical contracting services as well as design build electrical engineering, design assist service, BIM modeling, and value engineering services. Our wide range of expertise and years of experience through all management staff levels, allow us to guide the customer base in a forward thinking direction that not only meets the needs from an electrical install design but also is budget conscious.
